Kincraig village fete is the coolest event of Summer (though this year it was hot, hot, hot!)
A fun old fashioned day out mixed with the combination of the running/cycling mega challenge that is the Corrieyairack....something for everybody!
Could not resist this GORGEOUS family enjoying the fun races for wee ones while the Dad recovered from the big one ...and these two cute boys who motivated their Dad with their T-shirt slogans!
And I got tanned.

Got up early to take photos of the Boat of Garten osprey chicks being ringed , tagged and having SATELLITE TRACKERS installed on their backs by birdie expert Roy Dennis.
It's a photo scrum at the bottom of the nest site , and the birds don't always look at the camera , but I got some good shots. Shadowy light so early in the morning , though!
The chicks were not having it , and Roy got pecked a few times as he sewed the sat- rig in place....
Well , you would too, wouldn't you?

The beautiful wee church at Rothiemurchus is finally getting a new hall!
I was very pleased with this photo , but now I wish I had figured out how to get Roddy on the left to stand at a different angle ....but maybe it works just as it is.
Dontycha just love that shade of Pink?
